Whats in a name?

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Poetic but useless. The Collins Robert dictionary states, "A thermometer is an instrument for measuring the temperature of a room or of a persons body.θəˈmɒmɪtə NOUN".
This app merely gives local weather forecasts, it is not a thermometer by any stretch of the imagination. And theres nothing poetic about ot either.
