This application is total crap!!!!! And loaded with adds.

it is a good app that displays the temperature around, however, it does not measure the temperature itself. I expect there is no built-in temperature measuring sensor (thermister) yet, however, as more or less all smart phones have a characteristic feature of shutting the device itself at higher temperatures, I expect that feature can also be accessed to read the ambient temperature. In other words, this app is comparable to weather temperature....

To the guy standing next to another thermometer, you DO know how this app works right? It just takes data from the nearest OUTDOOR weather station based on your location. That said, a quick way to get the temp outside.

It just uses your location and finds how much degrees it is OUTSIDE!!

This app does nothing but give the temperature from the closest weather station and that is if the location search works. Stick with the default weather app.

Hahaha! You people that say it doesnt work actually thought your phone would grow a thermometer?? Of course it gets it from the nearest weather station! Hahaha! If you download the "lighter app" do you think you can light a fire with it?? :)

At first, I thought it would be handy, but today pretty much most of Alberta is below -25C. My closest weather station is sitting at -28C, but the app is showing -18C. Clearly, some adjustments need to be made; but if the problem does get fixed, I will come back & rate this five stars.

For accurate (compared to various weather apps) indication of outdoor temperature in your near area, this does the job. Super simple interface is what I liked about it. I think the author should point out to the audience that this gives outdoor temperature, not indoors like some well wishers thought! Genuinely innovative.

Ocasionally way off but pretty accurate, Only thing missing is wind direction.

I love this. It works correctly, fast, and accurately. Use it all the time. Whatever dumbbell thinks an app could indicate the temperature in their house and give a poor rating for that is bizerks.

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Poetic but useless. The Collins Robert dictionary states, "A thermometer is an instrument for measuring the temperature of a room or of a persons body.θəˈmɒmɪtə NOUN". This app merely gives local weather forecasts, it is not a thermometer by any stretch of the imagination. And theres nothing poetic about ot either.

Its not worth downloading this app its horrible not accurate and a wast of time

Ipad or iPhone doesnt have a internal thermometer. All this does is tell you the outside temp. Not the temp where you are Use the weather network and actually get a forecast

Since change to IOS 8 this app refuses to open.

This just tells u the temp OUTSIDE. Sitting in my 15-degree shed its telling me its 4-degrees. Yeah.....outside it is. :(
