Digital Thermometer FREE App Reviews

I really like this app, but would it be possible to add landscape view with a basic compass bearing next to it (N,NE,E,SE,S,SW,W,NW)? I would seriously pay $5 for the app if it had that. I have scoured the entire store and there is not a single app that has JUST a compass bearing and JUST the outside/ambient temperature AND allows it to be viewed in landscape mode. I ride a motorcycle and my phone mount is set to be viewed in landscape. Plus, since I am always wearing gloves when I ride, it is impractical to switch back and forth between multiple apps. If you offered it in a tech-looking red LED backlit skin, I would die from excitement—then I would come back to life and buy the app: )

It just says to restart the app. If I do, then it loops.

I had to hit restart several times as another reviewer mentioned. On about the fifth or sixth restart it gave me a reading. I think it takes awhile because it is establishing you altitude, longitude, & latitude as well as the temperature. It seems to react slowly to big temperature changes but it does work and is great for the price, thanks.

Why else have the app?

Does as good a job on temps. as anything. A little more accurate than the external temp. gauge in the car. The only thing Ive noticed is that the altitude continues to change even when sitting in the same location for hours. For the person who is complaining about no temp. reading: follow directions...turn the app off after initial installation and re-activate.

This app doesnt let you use it unless you enable your gps location. Personally I dont like to give up my privacy look for another app that does the same without any compromise.
